I am starting my first job since i received my certification and I have no formal experience. I am a nervous wreck. Anyone have any words of advice. What can I expect?

I started my career as a pharmacy technician at Walgreens it was great. The company is the best one to work for you have to work up to alot of money but you will learn the profession well. Good Luck!!

I worked for Walgreens in Minnesota,New Mexico, and Carson City ,Nevada. Good place to work, if you plan to stay on the job there, they'll pay for your Tech in Training which requires 1500 hours.on the job, then you become liscensed.I would suggest that pharmacy over anyother ones, maybe CVS.

I currently work for Walgreens. I started two weeks ago. I have my certification and also have no formal experience. I am still doing computer training. It is very detailed and takes many hours to complete. I am finding it to be so much knowlege that I can not remember it all. There is like 6-7 pages of computer work. I have also worked in the pharmacy. I love it so far. It seems to be a great company to work for. Don't be nervous. They have the best computer system in the world, therefore It makes it hard to make a mistake. You will do great. Hope this helps!!Good luck.
